Usui Reiki Level 1
Usui Reiki Level 1 is an important entry point into holistic practice. Focusing on the body, it introduces the influence of energy and methods for clearing heavy energy and restoring balance. The course covers Reiki's origins, lineage, history and applications, with two individual attunements. Practical work after attunement forms the main part of the course.
To learn what happens during a day of class, read A Day at a Reiki Level 1 Workshop: Attunement and Chakra Scanning and What is Reiki attunement like? . For daily practice after the course, see 12 Reiki Hand Positions for Self-Healing 。
Usui Reiki Level 2
The Intermediate course focuses on the mind. Based on the idea that thoughts consist of frequency and energy, it aims to help students move beyond limiting beliefs and rediscover their potential. Students learn three Reiki symbols and practical everyday applications. Following the Intermediate activation process, the symbols become functional within the tradition, allowing distance work across time and space to balance energy for oneself and others.
Intermediate symbol practice connects closely with abundance principles. Further reading: How Can Reiki Support Abundance and Prosperity? Mindset and Practice . Cathy also discusses this in Videos explains applications of the Sei Hei Ki symbol.
Usui Reiki Level 3
The advanced course focuses on spirituality: releasing what does not belong to you that has become attached to your soul, reclaiming your power and doing what your soul wishes to do. It also aims to develop self-awareness and intuition, explore life's purpose and mission, and experience a sense of oneness with all things.
The Advanced course is where Soul Love Center integrates Eastern wisdom most deeply. Before attending, read The connection between I Ching Philosophy and Reiki Healing 、 The Five Elements and Seven Chakras: An I Ching Perspective , and I Ching, Family Constellations and Reiki: Three Approaches to Deeper Healing 。
Usui / Tibetan Reiki Master
The Master course trains Reiki teachers. Graduates learn to attune others and deliver the complete Reiki teaching programme. The centre sets demanding standards: students should accumulate practical case experience before teacher training. Entry is restricted to students who have completed Usui Reiki Advanced.
Graduates receive relevant certificates and an IARP-recognised Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master certificate from the centre. Students may also apply for membership at their own expense and complete the ICRT international-certification version of Usui/Tibetan Reiki towards IARP international Master Teacher qualifications. Ask the centre for details.

Meditation & Insight
Alongside Reiki, meditation and insight are important foundations for integrating body, mind and spirit. These workshops gently guide participants towards calm and present-moment awareness. They suit those establishing a daily meditation habit and can complement Usui Reiki courses.
Suitable for beginners; no Reiki or meditation experience required. View Introductory Meditation and Insight Workshop Details
Recommended for those with introductory training or relevant meditation experience. View Advanced Meditation and Insight Workshop Details

Reiki Healing
If you are not ready to learn Reiki but would like time to relax and care for yourself, book an individual Reiki healing session with a practitioner.
| Item | Reiki healing | Learning Through an Usui Reiki Course |
|---|---|---|
| Role | You relax and receive Reiki | After attunement, you become a Reiki practitioner yourself |
| Form | An individual session | Certificate workshops with progression through levels |
| Suitable for | People who want to experience Reiki or relax | People who want to practise self-healing and care for family members or others |
| Continuity | Book further sessions as needed | Daily self-practice is possible after attunement |
Reiki complements relaxation and self-care and cannot replace medical treatment. The US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) states that Reiki has not been clearly shown effective for any health purpose, although research has not found harmful effects. I Ching in Our Courses
A distinctive feature of Soul Love Center is its integration of Usui Reiki with the I Ching, meridian theory, family constellations and Buddhist wisdom. The I Ching uses changes in yin and yang, the eight trigrams and sixty-four hexagrams to understand dynamic balance in all things, echoing Reiki's focus on energetic balance. In the courses, the I Ching serves as a framework for self-awareness rather than divination or prediction.
| Eastern wisdom | Related course content | Course level |
|---|---|---|
| I Ching philosophy | Reiki Family Constellations: The I Ching Philosophy | Advanced Level |
| Meridian theory | The twelve meridians and meridian time-cycle theory; subtle-energy touchpoints along 14 meridians | Advanced Level |
